Nice to meet you! We’re Chris & Ashley, lifelong Midwesterners and residents of Flyover Country, USA. We recently moved into a wonderfully weird, mid-60s round house that we have dubbed Roundhouse Station. Our weird house and all of its inhabitants have become the inspiration for this site.

We hope to provide useful information on a variety of topics that we have loosely categorized as, “modern midwesting.” Topics such as animal care (we have all kinds), food (we like it), and anything else that inspires us while going about life in our midwestern college town.
